If gaming is what you like to indulge in, then you’re probably going to be spending quite some time doing it. If this sounds like you, then you most likely are in need of a great gaming recliner. There are casual recliners, recliners for the office, and now there are even recliners meant to sit in while you play video games! We made a list of the best gaming recliners to us.

1. X Rocker 51396 Pro Series

At this moment, this is the most heavily reviewed gaming recliner on Amazon which gives you a sense of how popular this item is. We feel that it is rightfully popular, as its reputation lives up to its name. The X Rocker connects with multiple chairs, comes with two speakers and a radio, RCA stereo outputs, gunstock arms and a pedestal. When it comes to a great gaming experience, using this chair is just that. With this recliner you immerse yourself completely into the game. If you feel that you play video games too much, then this recliner might make it harder to stop!

2. X Rocker 51092 Spider Recliner

When comparing to the first X Rocker reviewed, this chair is honestly not as luxurious. That doesn’t take away anything from the chair because if not for our previous experiences, we’d probably think it’s a decent option and recommend it more enthusiastically. We also aren’t big fans of the design, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you’re looking for a quality recliner but at a generally lower price, this might be the one for you. It comes with two speakers and built in wireless radio, along with vibration motors and swivelling capabilities. It’s just like the 51396 except it went a level lower on the comfort.

3. X Rocker 51259 Pro Gaming Recliner

This chair took audio to another level; it has four output speakers rather than two. It also comes with built in vibration and a wireless radio. We’d say that this recliner is the second best on the list, maybe first (depending on what you’re interested in). Truthfully, we aren’t huge on gaming chairs and after the first two we got a little tired of them so our disclaimer is that this recliner was reviewed after some boredom with a few others. We’ll say that it’s comfortable, lightweight, and has great sound quality, but that’s about it. This chair doesn’t offer much else.

4. Ficmax High Back Computer Gaming Office Chair
This Fixmax gaming recliner is one that takes you by surprise. It has a swivel, and it does recline even though it’s not really a recliner so much as it is an office chair. The headrest and cushions are really softer than you might think just from looking at the image, and the lower back padding is no joke either. This is a comfortable chair, and it’s certainly not something that will become a chore to sit in for hours at a time, like it might be with other gaming chairs. I would define it as the perfect chair for PC gameplay, and it is often one that is recommended highly in that specific target audience because how comfy it is, especially when it comes to the back cushion and back support. We may not think it looks entirely like a typical recliner, but that may be what the definition of a modern recliner is in this year. Overall, this 360 degree gaming recliner chair gets the job done and I highly recommend it.

5. Homall Executive Swivel Leather Gaming Chair

Finally, we had to include a more affordable computer chair. The Homall Executive gaming chair is one of the best when it comes to relaxation. Whether you want to kick back and start watching tv or sit down for eight hours straight for a gaming marathon, it’s one of the best chairs for long-term activity. The armrest is a little stiff, and it could have benefited from added cushioning. There isn’t a footrest unfortunately, so that’s not something you can expect to do on this chair. Your back will be positioned comfortably though, and you will be able to lean back as much as you’d like. It’s definitely one of the best gaming chairs in that regard. The material is plenty breathable and PC gaming is a blast sitting in this monster.

How To Choose A Gaming Recliner

There are plenty of options to choose from. If you can test them out, you definitely should. When choosing a gaming recliner, we suggest thinking about the long term. Chances are if you’re buying a recliner to play video games in, you’re probably going to spend more than just a few hours in this chair. Think about the wear and tear, materials, pricing, comfort, and of course longevity.

What Type Of Gaming Chair Should I Buy?

This is entirely dependant on what kind of gaming you will be partaking in. As you have likely noticed, these are all game chairs but some are meant as PC gaming recliners whilst others are best fit in living rooms for console gaming. It will be entirely up to you to best decide which type of chair fits your needs. Obviously, you probably don’t want an office chair in the middle of your living room.

Verdict

If there’s anything you should take away from this reading, it’s that X Rocker is boss when it comes to this kind of stuff but if you’re into gaming chairs at all, you probably already know that. We tested out less than a dozen so our sample size is a bit small, but these three stood out to us. Check out our other recliners here.
